    SVHS Stars of the Week of Feb. 8th

    Here are the following students of the week and the teacher by whom they were nominated:

    Mr. Able: Branden Weis-improved classroom behavior

    Mrs. Anderson: Kara Peterson - Choir Room Aide Super Woman!

    Mr. Bellah: Kellee Carson- Being nice to a fellow student.

    Mr. Biegert: Jesse Cumberland - getting her assignments caught up while being gone

    Ms. Hinman: Abbey Bengtson for sharing her musical talents at the mother-daughter banquet. She performed beautifully on the piano.

    Mrs. Coney: Kristina Gent for her continued support of the Vikings at games.

    Mrs. Denk: Kristina Neilander for her excellent work on the new SVHS web site. She has been truly dedicated.

    Mrs. Elliot: Cecilia Gonzales for her extra efforts for Hearts for the Performing Arts at Bethany Home. Also, the KAYS in charge of the Crush sales. Great job, all!

    Mr. Ferguson: TJ Swensson; Mikael Midkiff, Brian Patrick; for their work on the WWII unit

    Mr. Henderson: Bryan McBride-for doing well on the Unit 7 Test

    Mr. Hildebrand: Steph Weaver for her consistency in doing things the right way.

    Mr. Knopp: Brock Reid for his effort and overall commitment to being a great musician.

    Mrs. Krehbiel: Jesse Cumberland for always having a smile and never complaining about being on crutches for so long (and still has a long time to go on them)

    Mrs. Lindshield: Megan Roberts and Arianna Johnson for their leadership and time given to FCCLA. They attended District Elections last Wednesday.

    Mrs. Kohn: Aaron Henne--I appreciate the hard work you put in on a regular basis. Great job!

    Ms. Lysell: Damien Schaffer for always being so good to me and making me smile, and Tyler Peterson for all of his work on my website, you rock!

    Mr. McClure: Austin Sanders for his hard work in Keyboarding.

    Mr. Miller: Logan Rierson for all his help this year.

    Mr. Nelson:

    Mrs. Oleen: Rachel Freeman, Ashley Bowles and Vicky Voigt for looking after the plants and fruit flies! They get excited about working with these critters!

    Mrs. Otero: Perla Vivanco & Cecilia Gonzales for consistetntly helping fellow classmates with Spanish!

    Mr. Schneider: Caleb Walton for constant improvement this semester. Well done.

    Mr. Sears: Chance O'Farrell for his improvement every day. Keep it up.

    Mrs. Toll:

    Mrs. Walker: Joe Price for his positive attitude and always giving his best effort

    Mrs. Wentz:Annika Schneider, Zach Bear, Kara Peterson, Chelsea Aschielman for being strong AP students and great discussion creators
