SVHS Stars of the Week May 10

Here are the following students of the week and the teacher by whom they were nominated:

Mr. Able:

Mrs. Anderson: To 23 fabulous seniors (11 of whom had their final Madrigal rehearsal this morning!) who have been outstanding leaders in the choirs! Best wishes to you for a great final concert tonight!

Mr. Bellah: Kristina Nielander for alway having a smile on her face and for always being nice to the teachers and students and for having a good attitude every time we have Life Skills.

Mr. Biegert:

Ms. Hinman: All the seniors in physics. Way to hang in there! You did an outstanding job!

Mrs. Coney: All of my senior aids..... excellent students that they are. (Kristen Taylor, Taylor Coney, Ben Eppenbach)

Mrs. Denk: Megan Roberts for some fabulous...creative book marks....CHECK OUT ALL OF OUR NEW BOOK MARKS!

Mrs. Elliot: Jarrod Altenborg for his great work in Paint/Design. You worked hard on EVERY assignment until the very end. Also, to the senior class that made my first year at SVHS a great one. Thank you!!

Mr. Ferguson: Karissa Shultis, Dustin Jacobson, Shayne Herman, Lindy Peterson Seniors who have been great aides for me this year. Thank you very much!!!!

Mr. Henderson: Ashley Foley for pointing out a mistake that I made in her favor in scoring her quiz. Good character!

Mr. Hildebrand: Megan Koons and Tiffany Youngquist for their journalism 2 efforts without the attention they deserve!

Mr. Knopp: All of the SVHS Band and Orchestra members for a FANTASTIC concert this past Friday night! Congrats on a successful year.

Mrs. Krehbiel: My student aides - Tanner Lott (even though he eats my food and steals drinks of Dr Pepper); Ryan Yenni (King of the copier); Jessie Linder (for not strangling those crazy boys 4th hr); and Cari Nelson (always positive and always willing to do whatever I ask of her)

Mrs. Lindshield: Kylie Myers for doing a great job with being a teen mom. Your journal and reaction paper showed that you internalized the needs of a baby and tried to provide those.

Mrs. Kohn: Dustin Jacobson, Ben Patrick, Becky Johnson, Brianna Alexander, Kristen Taylor: Seniors in my seminar class. Best wishes to you in the future!

Ms. Lysell: All of the seniors! The majority of you have been excellent role models, leaders, and students! I can't wait to see what the future holds for you! We'll miss you dearly!

Mr. McClure:

Mr. Miller: All my shop seniors. Thanks for the good year.

Mr. Nelson: All the seniors in my Human A & P class, thanks for a great school year. And remember, be careful out there!

Mrs. Oleen:

Mrs. Otero: Connor Denk for continued effort in Spanish 2 especially in the last few weeks.

Mr. Schneider: The Freshman class for finishing Time Capsules and the Seniors as they receive their Time Capsules on Wednesday. Congratulations Seniors!

Mr. Sears: Matt Graham for four years of superior work. Great job and good luck!

Mrs. Toll: To all band and orchestra kids for their great concert! Nice work!

Mrs. Walker: All my freshmen (you know who you are) for putting in the time it took to complete numerous projects for your classes. Hang in there!!!!

Mrs. Wentz: All the seniors I have had this year--you were awesome and it was a joy to work with each and every one of you. Best wishes as you move on to the next adventure of your life.

Mr. VanRanken:Bayle Best, Josiah Turner, and Dylan Walker for being GREAT SENIORS in Chemistry this year! Good luck!
