    SVHS Stars of the Week May 24

    Here are the following students of the week and the teacher by whom they were nominated:

    Mr. Able:

    Mrs. Anderson: To the Freshman Chorus - a very talented group of singers. Always remember - We Sing!

    Mr. Bellah: Cody Bowers for being an ideal Life Skills student. Always working hard and never complaining.

    Mr. Biegert:

    Ms. Hinman: Dakota Ireland for discovering a new way to solve a math problem and helping his peers. Way to go!

    Mrs. Coney: Kevin Smith for his enthusiasm and helping hands. He will make a great aid someday.

    Mrs. Denk: To all my readers in the library: I will miss you all next year.

    Mrs. Elliot: 7th hour art! You were a joy the last few weeks of school. Thank you!!

    Mr. Ferguson: To the Junior Class; for one of the best years I have ever had in teaching

    Mr. Henderson:

    Mr. Hildebrand: Seth Nelson, Grace Aspenwall, Rachel Loder, Kari Bingham and Thad Gutierrez for staying awake all night at Relay for Life (and for Coach Rachel Bellah and Taylor Whittaker for being great, although sleepy, team members.)

    Mr. Knopp: All members of the SVHS Band. Thank you for all of your dedication and hard work this year......your hard work paid off with wonderful performances of great music.

    Mrs. Krehbiel: TJ Swenson - You pick up on concepts quickly and you always make me smile. (By the way, Mt Dew is icky)

    Mrs. Lindshield: Kimi Lindshield for being the model student not rebellious daughter. We made it through the whole year in the same class. I love you.

    Mrs. Kohn: To the sophomores who made this a great first year for me at SVHS. I will be watching and expecting great achievements from you in the future!

    Ms. Lysell: Emma Flynn, for an always better than great performance on History work and going above and beyond on every single assignment and task given to her. Great Job this year!

    Mr. McClure:

    Mr. Miller:All the students in my Intro classes for making it a great year.

    Mr. Nelson: The the Juniors left behind in my Human A & P class. Thanks for staying the course these last two weeks. I will miss you all next year. I hope each of you have a fantastic summer!

    Mrs. Oleen:

    Mrs. Otero:

    Mr. Schneider: Dylan Hazelwood for pushing himself the past couple of weeks to get himself back to where he wanted to be. Nice Work!

    Mr. Sears: Thad Gutierrez for a great year. Nice work!

    Mrs. Toll: My 5th hour class for making this year count, and for coming together as a great group of juniors. You will be great seniors next year!

    Mrs. Walker: Larrissa W., Austin S., and Matt N. -- Used activity block time faithfully all semester to get their work done. I'm proud of you and you should be proud of yourselves!!!!!

    Mrs. Wentz: Thanks to all of the juniors for handling the challenges I presented to you throughout this school year with an attitude of determination and motivation. It was wonderful having you in my classes! I look forward to having you again next year as the Mighty Seniors!

    Mr. VanRanken: 1st hour Chemistry! Thanks for a FUN YEAR!
