    SVHS Stars of the Week March 1st

    Here are the following students of the week and the teacher by whom they were nominated:

    Mr. Able:

    Mrs. Anderson: Andrew Loder for always saying "Yes, I'll do it" whenever or wherever he's needed, with a great attitude and a smile!

    Mr. Bellah: Marina Patrick for having a good head on her shoulders and for doing well in school.

    Mr. Biegert: Hunter Cook for always make class interesting.

    Ms. Hinman: Jacob Johannsen and Annika Schneider for staying caught up, learning the material, and achieving excellence despite missing so many classes due to school activities.

    Mrs. Coney: Jessica VanRanken for stepping up in forensics. She stepped in for another student and then has been doing an excellent job with her piece.

    Mrs. Denk: Anna Waugh for always doing a great job in everything she does both in and out of class. Her positive attitude is a joy to everyone.

    Mrs. Elliot: Kellee Carson and Eryn Stockman for extra efforts and good attitudes in class.

    Mr. Ferguson: Weston Van Ranken--excellent work on test

    Mr. Henderson: Kellee Carson for extra effort, steady growth and improvement.

    Mr. Hildebrand: Carleigh Albers, Caitlin Whetstone, Sara Anderson,Tiffany Youngquist, Kari Bingham for qualifying for State journalism contest!

    Mr. Knopp: Tara Gladding for her constant improvement and commitment to being a great musician.

    Mrs. Krehbiel: Alex Wolf for being so on top of all of his work and having his assignments turned in ahead of time when he was gone.

    Mrs. Lindshield: Brian Patrick for his consistent effort, dry, quiet sense of humor and great attendance.

    Mrs. Kohn: Aaron Henne--for always being prepared for class and having such strong insight. Well done!

    Ms. Lysell: Enrique Escalante for doing a good job this semester in World History! Brooke Owens for buckling down and getting FABULOUS grades!!!!

    Mr. McClure:

    Mr. Miller: Ryan Fritz for all his help with projects.

    Mr. Nelson: Kasey Kolling for her hard work to get caught up after being out for a week!

    Mrs. Oleen:

    Mrs. Otero: Tyler Gill for extra effort in class.

    Mr. Schneider:

    Mr. Sears: Isaac Brown for working harder to complete assignments.

    Mrs. Toll: Karissa Shultis for getting a 4.0 this week!

    Mrs. Walker:

    Mrs. Wentz: Arlene Fairbanks for maintaining great grades this whole year. Way to go!

    Mr. VanRanken: Signe Showalter for making sure she got caught up in Chemistry!
